Arrival

Pulteney Cottage: The change over day is Saturday exiting by 10 am and entry is after 4pm. Long weekends will be considered on request providing it does not over lap with a prior weekly booking.

Harbour Cottage: The changeover is normally Saturday unless otherwise arranged. You may gain access to the cottage any time from 3pm onwards and the departure time is before 10 am. Alternative times may be arrange to accommodate you if necessary.

Smoking

We have a no smoking policy in the cottage.

Pets

Dogs are welcome but please keep them under control at all times whether in The Cottage or in the garden. We reserve the right to charge for any damage done by pets during their stay in the cottage. There is a small charge for pets.

Linen

Bed linen and towels are provided. Towels are not to be used outside the cottage. Please bring your own towels and blankets for the beach or for swimming in the excellent pool in Elgin.

Household

There is a first aid kit in the cupboard and a selection of cleaning materials should you wish to use these.

Electricity

This is included in the tariff.

Breakages

Please report any breakages, damage or spills on fabrics and carpets as soon as possible.

Accommodation Details (Pulteney Cottage)

The cottage has recently been added to our portfolio and is suitable for disabled visitors. There is a designated disabled parking space at the door. With a large living area as well as a separate kitchen/dining room, a downstairs double bedroom and upstairs attic room, five people can easily feel at home here. The cottage is also ideal for those with well behaved dogs.

Ground Floor

  • Kitchen/Dining room
    Large fitted kitchen with cupboards and work tops, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils, dishwasher. Dining table and chairs.
  • Living Room
    Large lounge with unit, comfy three-seater sofa, 2 armchairs and electric fire. Flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player, Music player.
  • Ground Floor Double Bedroom
    Double bed with luxury linen and duvet, bedside table with lamps and chest of drawers.
  • Bathroom
    Large bathroom with white suit (large basin, shower enclosure and toilet also equipped with grab hand rails for assisting disabled people).

First Floor

  • Huge Attic Bedroom
    Containing a double bed and a single bed with ample space for family members.
  • The cottage is WIFI enabled, and has a phone which can receive incoming calls. It is close to the beach and has a patio.

The nightly rental is £180 from August to September and £160 thereafter. The price includes all linen, towels, heating, electricity and a welcome pack with the basic necessities for that first cooked breakfast. Pets are welcome.

Accommodation Details (Harbour Cottage)

The cottage has recently undergone its annual ‘touch-up’ and maintenance. With a large living area as well as a separate kitchen/dining room, a double and 2 twin rooms, six people can easily feel at home here. We can also provide a cot or an extra camp bed for those with young families. The cottage is also ideal for those with well behaved dogs.

Ground Floor

  • Kitchen/Dining room
    Large fitted kitchen with vast cupboards and work tops, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils, washing machine. Dining table and chairs.
  • Living Room
    Large living room with unit, comfy three-seater sofa, armchair, fire place, and extra three-seater settee. Flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player, CD/Radio.
  • Double Bedroom
    Double bed with luxury linen and duvet, bedside table with lamps and chest of drawers.
  • Bathroom
    Large downstairs bathroom with a grey 3 piece suite consisting of a bath, wash basin and lavatory. Walk in shower cubicle.

First Floor

  • Large Twin Bedroom
    With wardrobes and 2 single beds
  • Bedroom
    With 2 single beds and built-in wardrobes.
  • The cottage is WIFI enabled, and has a phone which can receive incoming calls. It is close to the beach and has a patio.

Prices range from £295 per week in the off peak winter months to £450 per week in the high summer. Bank holidays, easter holidays, Christmas and new year have a supplement. There is a supplement of £10 per dog, should you wish to bring one (or two!), but we do ask that they are kept out of the bedrooms and not allowed on the furniture. The price includes all linen, towels, heating, electricity and a welcome pack with the basic necessities for that first cooked breakfast.
